MAX is a young juvenile male, born March 10 or 11th 2020 whose mother is Relief and brother was also a special young hippo and is called Steve. Max is like Steve and has been chased out of the family as he is now old enough to live alone until he is grown up and can have his own family.
He has found our house Hippo Haven and since early July has started visiting the house daily and so I am giving him supplementary feeding of horse cubes and hay so that he stays safe in our area. So Max is our new house hippo. He turns five years and six months of age in September. He eats his food right by our back door and comes every day early afternoon in broad daylight.
