This is a small video clip for you all to thank you for being here for the hippos throughout the year by adopting, purchasing my books, donating or sending moral support when times get hard.
It is also to say a massive thank you to a very special person, Ricky Gervais, comedian and actor who has so kindly just a couple of days ago made an amazing donation to the Turgwe Hippo Trust with proceeds from his last tour, Mortality which will be on Netflix from the 30th December.
We thank Ricky for not only spreading humor in our world but most importantly for caring about the planet’s animals. An honest man is not an easy person to find but we believe Ricky is such a man.
We love you and we thank you for helping these hippos and all the wildlife that we do our best to care for.
