Wonky possibly female born to Cheeky in April 2023. I was surprised to find Cheeky with a new calf in April as she is the oldest female out of all the Turgwe Hippos. Interestingly Wonky has picked up the dark more black than grey skin of a hippo. This is a throwback from her grandmother Blackface. I am hoping she is female and she is the last calf conceived by Tembia who sadly was killed in December 2022.
