   Thank you for lots of glimpses into the many lives of the animals that find sanctuary in your backyard, as you call it, Karen. Wonderful to hear the river running and see the green foliage too. It looks like you’re having the same reprieve of severe drought as we’re having Down Under. Fingers crossed it’ll last a little longer.

   So good to see the fruits of the tireless work of your scouts heaped up at their feet too. It’s a never-ending battle, isn’t it?

   Fabulous scenes, as ever. How Steve is growing! Kuckek is looking magnificent. Excellent work by the scouts on the never-ending battle against snares and poaching

     thanks Carol yes Steve is growing he turns 4 in September. He is becoming more independent in the last couple of weeks and goes away for a few days and then comes back to us.
