Happy New Year to everyone at Turgwe and all the animals!
A great video showing all the highlights. Thanks for taking the time to put it together Karen. Particularly good to see all the newborns from 2015.
Fingers crossed for the rain!
Love & best wishes, Susan
Hi Susan so pleased you enjoyed it no rain yet so very worried. Have ordered my first 400 bales of hay and a couple of tons of survival ration and horse cubes. I may end up feeding from now until next Dec so that is not good and will have to do an appeal but still hoping for rain. Love Karen and the hippos
Hello Karen, we are class 2PH from Southwell School in New Zealand. One of our students Maisie Stephenson told us today about your trust and how she has adopted baby George. We just viewed your video and were amazed by the work you do to keep the hippos and other animals alive and well. Congratulations on your dedication and commitment to these beautiful creatures.

Hi Pen I have sent to you an email re adoptions. Thank you so much for your kind words. I make a video every month not always about the hippos so if the school are interested check out my blog on a regular basis to see when the next video is up. Love Karen and the hippos. Or the video can be found under turbwehippomark on you tube.
Happy Christmas Karen and Friends.
We will be crossing our fingers and toes for a good rainy soggy 2016season for you all. (We have had no snow so far this year )
The 2015 video is terrific. I was happy to see the new motorbike!!
The best to you and yours for the new year.
Hi Linda I will have an updated newsletter in the New Year to fill everyone in with a bit more detail than the video. I am pleased that you liked it though and I hope others will take the 9mins to see what has been going on here. A tiny part of life in the bush with the animals. Have a superb New Years Eve and may 2016 be a great year filled with love, laughter and good days. Karen and the hippos and Squiggle and all xxx
